@kaibrach indeed! But I’ll take an address/name trust based system with a paper ballot over an electronic one, any day if the week. @kaibrach I talk to computers for a living. Way easier to add a few thousand votes electronically than impersonate all your neighbours.
@kaibrach pretty much the same in Canada. Register, show up, they check your name off the list. Similar Westminster style system. @kaibrach it’s meant to avoid disenfranchising people who don’t have government id. Proof of residency is enough.
