My brother’s wife is applying for residency there this year and (he has a few more months to wait). @mjblair I’ve lived there, worked there, and have a lot of friends there. It’s a hard result to process. @mjblair err that that and was meant to be an “at the moment”, mangled sentence overall
Especially my immigrant brother, and his immigrant wife. Not like he’s contributing anything valuable to society as a much-needed GP. With the current political direction in the UK, US and Europe, feeling super-lucky for our election results last fall.
