It’s homecoming weekend here. I went to the football game this afternoon, got to see a lot of old alumni parade around the field. There was a thunderstorm here and we had the power knocked out for a couple hours in our residence. We still had a lot of people left on the floor. We ended up having a lot of fun. I have a bunch of work to get caught up on tomorrow.

Hmm, didn’t get around to writing anythng yesterday. Didn’t really get a whole lot of work done yesterday. I only have one class today so I’ll probably spend a good chunk of the day working. It’s homecoming here at queen’s, apparently there’s going to be a lot of people around. Lots of partying too.
Some of the highlights from
Some of the highlights from my day at school. Well professors proving that they are in fact falible human beings. Well, there’s calculus and us using real world data that was in fact made up; our prof described it to us as a pretend real world. Then there’s economics, dealing with property rights and government regulation, protecting shamen and schmooze populations. Err, salmon and moose rather, that’s just his accent though. There was psychology too, talking about how they perform intelligence tests and academics generally prefering iq tests, rather than something like gauging a machinist’s skill or something (different type of intelligence). The exact wording? We like using them because we do good on these intelligence tests.

An article in the toronto
An article in the toronto star about hotline. I used it a year or two ago, but I had forgotten about it. It’s not like the newer peer to peer software programs out there, this is a good old client/server app.
We don’t usually create answers
We don’t usually create answers in search of a question. We create questions in search of an answer. One answer can have multiple questions, just as one question can have multiple answers.
